From the time I was a little girl, I loved nothing more than spending time on my aunts and uncle’s farms and ranches, from Northeast Oklahoma Green Country dairy farms to feedlots and open skies of the Texas panhandle.  My heart always told me this is where I belong, but it took a while to make my dreams come true.

I was raised a city girl, and leaving Oklahoma State University my career took a corporate path.  I advanced the corporate ladder and loved every minute of it, moving coast to coast. I found my way back home to Oklahoma eventually, and in late 2017, over dinner with my great friends at Henricks Cattle Co. and a Griswold Classic sale catalog, I took a risk and decided to enter the cattle business and buy my first cow.  

Well, here we are years later, I’ve traded conference calls for barn stalls, and my herd has grown to over 300-head focusing primarily on Simmental cattle.  This growth and venture into the show world would not have been possible without the mentorship and guidance of two great partners, Henricks Cattle Co and Griswold Cattle Co.  They have helped me develop an eye for good, sound foundational cattle to build my program around.
